Null Device: The London EP
Since our last free, online offering (The Footfalls EP) was so successful, we decided to do it again. This time, we take a track from A Million Different Moments, remix it, and toss in some other mixes, demoes and outtakes. It's free for the taking, but we do encourage a donation to offset the cost of something like this.
We also did a short run of physical CDs of this EP, but they have since sold out. We may do another short run if there's a demand.
The Music
- Walk In London (Null Device Brick lane mix)
The 12" single mix, remixed by Null Device. - Unknowingly (iris mix)
Iris's Andrew Sega takes the controls and warps the brooding "Unknowingly" into a cutting-edge dance track. - Walk in London (null device bristol suburbs mix)
Downtempo, with middle eastern percussion and an overall slow-groove feel. - Travelogue (Hungry Lucy mix)
Hungry Lucy ups the tempo on AMDM's "title" track, and drops a few more ethnic instruments in there. - Complicated (previously unreleased)
A track, originally written for AMDM, that we felt didn't fit on the album. But it fits here. - Electrified (demo version)
The first version of "Electrified", complete with noise, low recording quality, and Eric O's badly-played guitar. - Walk in London (NDvsTDC acoustic version)
Dan Clark, guitarist for ND/Stromkern/The Dark Clan re-arranges Walk In London into an acoustic ballad. Null Device leaps in with fiddle and bass to round things out.
